Kincer called the meeting to order, clerk gave a roll call, and all council
members were present.
The
meeting was called for the purpose of presenting two resolutions for council
approval to proceed with the application for funding of the phase 2 water project
and phase 3 sewer project.
Attorney
Tackett read Resolution 09-27-11-1 for the Phase 2 water project CDBG
application. Chuck made a motion to
approve Resolution 09-27-11-1 as presented, Becky second the motion, all
council members were in agreement.
Attorney
Tackett read Resolution 09-27-11-2 for the Phase 3 sewer project KIA
application, Carol Anne made a motion to approve Resolution 09-27-11-2, Robert
second the motion, all council members were in agreement.
There
was some discussion about the #2 Bottom sewer pump station. Terry asked how the pump station was
operating. Mayor Kincer explained that
Todd and Scotty have been working for several days trying to re route the lines
like they were before the pump station was put in at #2 Bottom. We will use this method until the problem can
be adequately corrected. Nesbitt will
assist the city in trying to solve the problem.
Todd will be do smoke testing at #2 Bottom to try to locate the homes
that are connecting down spouts to the sewer system. There was some more discussion then Becky
made a motion to adjourn, Rick second the motion, all council members were in
agreement. The meeting ended at 7:34
